Day 11 – At Sea (next stop Florida!)

Bridge is feeling a bit better today – Hooray! In fact she even managed to get out of bed for a few hours! 🥳

Weather wise it was a bit bumpy, with a 7 metre swell most of the day, causing a good deal of creaking and banging around the ship, all of which is not overly conducive to a good night’s sleep.

This morning we went to a lecture by a ‘published author’ purporting to be an expert on creative writing, but in fact, on looking her up after the event, it turns out she writes a column for a wine magazine, and her 45 minute lecture consisted mainly of her telling the audience which books we should read, including ‘Spare’ by Prince Harry! Hmmm… 🤨
