Days 2-4 – at Sea

Today we are half way to Madeira, having sailed some 670 miles. We had a bit of a bouncy ride across the Bay of Biscay, although nothing much compared with last year!

This morning we went to watercolour painting and, to our amazement and delight, in walked Tony, our watercolour chum from the South America cruise!! After class we did our mile walk around the promenade deck before lunch. This afternoon we have been chilling (well, Paul went for his gym induction while I did my cross stitch).

The weather is blustery with sunny spells and the temperature is 13 degrees. Not quite sunbathing weather, but hopefully in a few more days! ☺️🤞
