Days 8&9 – At Sea

Having finally embarked on our much anticipated voyage, Bridge has promptly gone down with a horrid chest infection. So we have very little to report, suffice to say it is fortuitous that we chucked a box of Lemsip in with the holiday first aid kit before we left!

The weather has been blustery over the last couple of days with winds of 50 mph today and a 4 1/2 metre swell, so there have been a few bumps and creaks and groans throughout the day. Our captain tells us that the blame lies firmly with the ship’s meteorologist 😆
