Day 5 – Funchal, Madeira Bridge, January 15, 2026January 16, 2026 Today we arrived at our first stop Funchal, Madeira. We spent the morning exploring the old town, including Praca do Municipio, before having lunch at a very nice little fish restaurant in Avenida Santa Maria. Having already walked 10,000 steps and with Paul complaining of a sore throat, we headed back to the ship for a leisurely afternoon reading and painting. Daily Posts
