Day 96 – Miami Bridge, April 20, 2026April 28, 2026 So… we arrived in Miami at 6 o’clock this morning. By 10.45 and we still hadn’t been allowed off the ship because US Immigration had only allocated 5 customs officers to process 3,000 passengers. They also forbid the ENTIRE crew from going ashore in case anyone absconds, even though they were allowed off in Los Angeles(!) and even though Cunard is an American company!!! Anyway, we finally got ashore at 1.30 this afternoon (better late than never) and we did have a nice afternoon wandering along Miami Beach, Ocean Drive and the art deco district. For the next 6 days we are sailing across the Atlantic before arriving at our final port of call Ponta Delgada in the Azores. To be honest, by now we are very much looking forward to getting home. 😌 Daily Posts
